Walking the Good Road Together

In January 2010 Heartland church hosted an event honoring the Miami Nation of Indians of Indiana. The event was called Restoring Ancient Gates. Terry and Darlene Wildman helped to plan and lead the gathering. Since that time there have been several shared events held both at the Miami Powwow near Rockville Indiana and at Heartland Church. 

On Sunday evening January 23rd, Heartland will host another shared event called Walking the Good Road Together. RainSong will lead a time of music and storytelling. The Miami Drum will share some of their songs and Chief Brian Buchanan will speak about what is happening with the Maimi of Indiana.

Schedule

5:00 pm a shared meal served at Heartland Church provided by the church

6:00 pm Music by RainSong and the Miami Drum with share songs

7:00 pm Chief Buchanan

7:30 pm Coffee and Fellowship
